Ingredients :
1. 1 bunch kumro ful / Pumpkin flower
2. 1 fulkopi / cauliflower
3. Oil for deep fry
For Batter :
1. 1 cup besan / gram flour
2. 1/3 rd cup rice flour
3. Some chopped coriander leaves
4. 2-3 chopped green chili
5. Salt depends on taste
6. 1/3 rd tsp turmeric powder
7. Water around 1.5 cup
For Boiling cauliflower :
1. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
3. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
4. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
5. 1.5 tsp salt
Procedure :
1. Take kumro ful and cut. Separate stick from yellow part. Now wash flower and strain from water.
2. Make a batter. In a bowl add besan, rice flour, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chili, salt, turmeric powder and water. Add water gradually and mix. Make soft smooth batter. Check that, cauliflower and pumpkin flower coat nicely with batter.
3. Boil cauliflower. Add one by one turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds powder and salt with hot water. Keep flame high and add washed fulkopi.. Stir once. Cover with lid and boil for 2 minutes in high flame. Cauliflowers shouldn’t cook too much, make it half boil.
4. After 2 minutes, strain cauliflower from hot water. And take take preparation for deep fry.
5. Heat oil. Take flower one or two at a time. Coat with batter nicely and pour in hot oil. 3-4 minutes later, after frying one side, flip over and fry another side. When flower turns to golden colour, strain from oil and keep on kitchen tissue to absorb extra oil.
6. Same way, coat cauliflowers and fry all.
7. Enjoy this two types flower fry in winter season. Just yummy....
